About the Photographer

My name is Julia Kitchen.

Wife to Garrett and mother of two. My life is laid down at the foot of the cross; in total surrender to Jesus. He is absolutely everything to me.

After ten years in the photography industry, I find myself at a crossroad. My heart craves less stress, more time with family. Less hustle, more slow + intentional creativity. Less rushing and more being present.

I find myself in a new season of focusing on portraits revolving around motherhood and family. After having two children of my own + more down the road, I have fallen head over heels in love with real, raw and authentic family portraits.

I’m awkwardly quirky, full of deep joy from the heart of God, and in love with the little things in life. I love a good sunset, a good belly laugh, baking… you know. The simple things!
